Let us entertain you at Murray Bridge Town Hall

Due to numerous requests from residents who would like to see affordable daytime performances in the Murray Bridge Town Hall, the Rural City of Murray Bridge is pleased to announce that a series of morning matinees has been arranged for 2012.  These will be held on a monthly basis on Thursdays from February to December.  The performances will showcase a variety of performers featuring music, comedy and general entertainment.

Patrons will be invited to come along to the Town Hall for morning tea at 10am.  The performances will start at 11am and last for approximately one hour.  You will then have the opportunity to go for a guided tour through the Regional Gallery.  The all inclusive price will be $15.00 per ticket, but if patrons wish to get in early, they can buy a season ticket for the five performances from February to June for $65.00 – a savings of $2.00 per performance.

The first Matinee Series performance will be Mathew Carey’s Cabaret Confessional and will be held on Thursday, February 16th.  Mathew is a highly sought after pianist, arranger and musical director.  In this concert, Mathew will be presenting his Cabaret Confessional graduates on their maiden cabaret voyage.  Who knows – maybe there’s a new Liza Minelli in the making!

Tickets for the February performance are now available in person at the Local Government Centre, 2 Seventh Street, between 8.30am and 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays, or by phoning  8539 1100.  You can also book online at www.murraybridge.sa.gov.au  The Town hall Box Office will be open from 10am on the day of the performance for the sale of any remaining tickets.

If you would like to take advantage of the season tickets, or would like a brochure or any further information, please contact Avis on 8539 1430, or email at This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it
