MacGill, Cricket Aust in talks over pay

Former Test spinner Stuart MacGill will enter mediation with Cricket Australia in the next step of his legal bid to recoup match payments and prize money the 46-year-old claims he is owed.

MacGill has taken action in the Victorian Supreme Court, alleging he was never paid the money owed to him after injury ended his Australian career in May 2008.

On Monday, the parties agreed to enter mediation to resolve the impasse, before a planned four-day trial starting August 14.
