Having just enjoyed his 77th birthday, Ringo Starr has celebrated by announcing a new album, which will be his first since 2015's Postcards From Paradise. The album, titled Give More Love, has been set for release on September 15 (vinyl release will follow on September 27) and sees Starr collaborating with a number of well-known friends.

The album will reunite Starr and Paul McCartney as well as featuring contributions from Joe Walsh (The Eagles), Peter Frampton, Dave Stewart (The Eurythmics), Jeff Lynne (Electric Light Orchestra) and many others.

Starr told Billboard that he and Dave Stewart had originally intended to record a country album, but that idea was scrapped when the All-Starr band toured again. “That’s how I ended up making another album at home and writing all kinds of songs with all kinds of friends -- everybody giving more love and just letting the music flow. We do it in the guesthouse. I don’t know exactly what I’m going to get each time, but this one seemed to have its own great energy from the start.”

The complete tracklist to Give More Love, as well as your opportunity to listen to the first single, are below.
