Operation Nomad is now underway in South Australia with police monitoring known firebugs and deploying extra resources to keep fire prone communities safer.
It comes as a suspect has been identified following a series of deliberately lit roadside fires at Eden Valley.
Police say it was thanks to tip offs from the community that they were able to identify a local 57-year-old man who is now assisting with enquiries.
