The South Eastern Freeway has reopened in both directions following an overnight truck crash at Crafers.
Just before 2.20am today, Wednesday 14 June, police responded to reports of a truck crashing into the concrete barrier on the out track of the South Eastern Freeway near the Stirling on ramp.
The driver was not injured.
Inbound traffic was closed for much of the morning from the start of the freeway to Stirling with traffic being diverted, while outbound traffic was reduced to one lane.
Heavy vehicles had to be stopped at the bottom of the freeway and were unable to continue their trips for several hours.
Police and emergency services attended the scene to clean up spilled fuel, debris and damage to the barrier.
The truck and trailors were removed at about 7am.
Police are investigating the crash.
