A man has been arrested after weapons were seized from a property in the Murraylands.
Police allege that on Monday 26 February, Murray Bridge Police attended an address on Burbidge Road, Ettrick and conducted a search of the property, allegedly uncovering weapons.
A .177 calibre air handgun and two tubs of pellets were seized, along with numerous prohibited weapons including two extendable batons, a set of knuckle dusters and 11 knives.
On Tuesday 27 February, police re-attended the property and arrested a 41-year-old man. He was charged with breach of a firearms prohibition order, possess unregistered firearm, possess a firearm without a licence, 14 counts of possessing a prohibited weapon, and breach of bail.
He was refused bail and appeared in the Murray Bridge Magistrates Court on Tuesday where he was remanded in custody until 9 May.
