Two men have been arrested and police are searching for two other suspects after a break-in and assault at Murray Bridge.
At about 7.45pm on Friday 20 September, it is alleged that four men armed with weapons forced their way into a house in Clifford Street and assaulted the male occupant.
The 42-year-old victim was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.
Two of the suspects, a 24-year-old Murray Bridge man and a 19-year-old man from Loxton, were arrested soon after and charged with aggravated serious criminal trespass and assault causing harm.
They were both refused bail and appeared in court the following day.
Investigators are following positive lines of enquiry regarding the two remaining suspects.
