Investigations continue after bones were found on the side of the road in the Hills / Fleurieu town of Strathalbyn.
About 2.30pm on Friday 9 June, police were called to Paris Creek Road to investigate the discovery of what is believed to be human remains.
A scene guard was established with local detectives, and forensic investigators combing the area for extra evidence with support from STAR Group officers and SES volunteers. They came up empty-handed.
Police have sent bones off for forensic testing, which they say may take some time.
