Hahndorf are one step closer to another undefeated season in Division One of the Hills Footy League, after accounting for Mount Lofty in their top-of-the-table clash on Saturday.
The Pies held the Devils to just three goals in the match, winning by 27 points to move three and a half games clear at the top of the ladder with five rounds left to play.
Other matches from the round saw Uraidla Districts and Lobethal claim key wins, while Mount Barker survived an almighty scare from Echunga to win by 4 points.
Over in the Country Division, Gumeracha confirmed their premiership favouritism with a 48-point thumping of Kersbrook while Meadows and Birdwood also tallied victories.
GREAT SOUTHERN FOOTBALL LEAGUE (full results here)
Mount Compass has kept their slim finals hopes alive with a stirring upset of Encounter Bay, as part of Round 13 action in the Great Southern Footy League on Saturday.
The Bulldogs held their nerve in a low-scoring matchup to beat the Eagles by 9 points, which keeps Mount Compass mathematically in the hunt for finals and drops Encounter Bay to fifth.
Myponga-Sellicks avoided an upset of their own against Willunga, winning by just 8 points to keep their place in third, while Victor Harbor, McLaren Districts and Langhorne Creek all cruised to wins of their own.
RIVER MURRAY FOOTBALL LEAGUE (full results here)
A wet and wild day in the River Murray Footy League on Saturday almost produced a huge upset, as Mypolonga survived a scare from eighth-placed Mallee Districts.
The Tigers led by 21 points at the final change, however were almost overrun by the Storm who kicked the last two goals to fall just seven points short in a low-scoring tussle.
The other matches from the round went as expected, with the Coorong Cats, Imperial and Jervois all winning comfortably.
