SA Hit By 65,000 Lightning Strikes

A storm across much of South Australia overnight has included around 65,000 lightning strikes, leaving more than 10,000 properties without power.

SA Power Networks crews have been responding to outages across the Murraylands, Metro Adelaide and Hills Fleurieu regions.

Power has been restored to the majority of the 2,700 properties in Mannum and surrounds by 9.15am this morning.

SES crews have also been responding to more than 30 incidents since midnight, with more expected today.
