A 32-year-old woman has reportedly sustained injuries to her face after a shark attack in Port Noarlunga this afternoon.
Emergency services were first called to the Esplanade at Port Noarlunga Jetty at approximately 1:20pm after reports of an animal bite, with further help being called on to help with screening and extraction.
She has been rushed to hospital in a serious but non-life threatening condition.

Police with the assistance of other emergency services evacuated the water while a search to locate the shark was undertaken.
It marks the third shark attack in five weeks in SA waters.
