A teenage driver has been arrested following the investigation into a fatal crash at Second Valley earlier this month.
About 5.15pm on Sunday 10 December, emergency services were called to a single vehicle rollover on Main South Road.
A 16-year-old Blackwood boy who was a passenger in the Toyota Hilux died at the scene.
Three other passengers, a 16-year-old Maslin Beach boy, a 15-year-old St Morris girl, and a 15-year-old Crafers girl, were all taken to the Flinders Medical Centre for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
Main South Road was closed between Forest Road and Roper Lane for several hours while Major Crash officers attended and examined the circumstances surrounding the crash.
Today, Thursday 21 December, Major Crash Investigators arrested the driver, a 17-year-old boy from Dover Gardens, and charged him with aggravated driving without due care and breach of provisional 1 licence.
He was bailed to appear in the Adelaide Youth Court on 7 March 2024.
