Ryder charges dropped

POLICE charges laid against Port Adelaide ruckman Paddy Ryder have dropped.

Ryder was charged with assaulting police and hindering officers following an incident in Adelaide’s CBD last month.

However, the Power confirmed this afternoon Police won’t pursue the charges.

“Ryder has acknowledged a written caution from SA Police and the matter is now at an end,” a statement from Port Adelaide said.

“Ryder and the Port Adelaide Football Club now consider the matter closed and will be making no further comment.”
