One Month to Secure Multi-Million Funding

Time is running out for the State to access the $25 million Murray Darling Basin Regional Economic Diversification Programme.

Member for Chaffey Tim Whetstone has been vocal about his fears of losing the funds, which he says is a chance to diversify business in the Riverland.

While the other Basin states have signed the agreement, the State Government is yet to, based on issues around GST.

Mr. Whetstone says it's been made clear that there's less than a month to sign the funding agreement, or the funding will be reallocated.
