Gorge Wildlife Park has re-opened today after being shut for two months due to COVID-19 restrictions.
The Cudlee Creek venture has excitedly shared the news overnight, saying they will be able to provide a safe outdoor experience for those wanting to see animals from all over the country and world.
Animal experiences, such as koala holding. and keeper talks will be unavailable until further notice to ensure the park complies with social distancing requirements. The park said they will be closely following social distancing guidelines with groups larger than 10 not allowed to congregate.
Friends of the Gorge memberships and gift vouchers current as of 26th March 2020 will be extended for the 8-week period that the park was temporarily closed.
Gorge Wildlife Park is a family-run 14 acre organisation with a large collection of Australian and exotic animals, birds and repitles including its newest member, a 150kg American Alligator called Igon.
