Improved trauma counselling services are being provided to regional communities with the roll out of a State Government scheme today.

Relationships Australia SA has been selected to provide therapeutic services to South Australian victims of crime for the next two years from 1 July 2020.

As well as being able to access services online and on the phone, victims will be able to seek trauma-based counselling services face-to-face in metro and greater Adelaide and in Victor Harbor, Murray Bridge, Waikierie, Loxton and Noarlunga.

Relationships Australia SA expects to open offices in Mount Gambier and Port Augusta by the end of the year to ensure comprehensive coverage in the city and the country.

To be connected to your closest office, call 1300 364 277 (cost of a local call) or 1800 182 325 (country callers). For a full list of available locations, see the Relationships Australia website.
