The Adelaide Hills Messenger is one of the many regional and community News Corp mastheads to become digital only by June 29.
The media giant is looking to cut costs during the pandemic and there is speculation that up to a third of jobs at the company could be axed under the restructure.
"Today's announcements ... will mean some job roles will change and regretfully, will lead to job losses," chief executive Michael Miller said on Thursday 28 May.
"COVID-19 has impacted the sustainability of community and regional publishing."
Community titles to be digital-only news services in South Australia include Messenger Adelaide Hills, Messenger South Plus, Messenger East Plus, Messenger North, Messenger West, Messenger City and Messenger Upper Spencer Gulf.
News Corp's major daily papers will become more state focused, drawing content from regional and community journalists, including Messenger Coast Plus which will cease running its own publication.
