The Murraylands will miss out on a major calendar event this year.
The Pedal Prix has been cancelled both in Murray Bridge and Adelaide after board members at the Australian Human Powered Vehicle Super Series deeming the Spring event too risky amid COVID-19 restrictions.
Regarded nationally as the 'premier contest' for the sport, the 24-hour Murraylands event would have drawn up to 200 teams and 3,000 competitors with up to 10,000 spectators.
Organisers are now focusing their attention on the 2021 event.
