Meningie Woman Seriously Injured in Truck Crash

Police are investigating a serious road collision at Yumali.

About 9.40pm on Sunday 24 January, emergency services were called to the Dukes Highway after reports that a Ford sedan and truck had collided head on.

The driver of the car, a 60-year-old Meningie woman, suffered serious injuries and was airlifted to the Royal Adelaide Hospital where she remains in a critical condition.

The driver of the truck, a 24-year-old Naracoorte man, was not seriously injured.

There have been road closures in place on the Dukes Highway overnight, with the expectation they will reopen soon. Check the Traffic SA website (https://traffic.sa.gov.au) for updates.
