Fire Destroys Properties and Car in Victor Harbor

Police are investigating a fire which destroyed a unit, caravan and car at Victor Harbor.

 About 3.45am on Friday 19 February, police and MFS crews were called to Hill Street after reports of a fire at a group of units.

When patrols arrived they found one unit completely engulfed in flames. The fire had spread to a caravan and car that was parked alongside the unit.

Fire crews quickly extinguished the blaze which started to spread to a neighbouring unit and caused damage to its exterior.

Thankfully no one was injured.

The cause of the fire is not believed to be suspicious. Fire Cause Investigators are attending to examine the scene.

The damage bill is sitting at $300,000.
