Tributes have rolled in for the man who died in a fire at an Adelaide Hills winery on Monday.
Family members revealed in their Glen Ewin Estate Facebook page last night that the 83-year-old man who died in the tragic incident was winery owner, Bill Wauchope.
“It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of Bill Wauchope,” their Facebook post read.
“Bill was an adventurer and a gentleman at heart. He developed Glen Ewin from a wreck to its current beautiful state with the help of his family.”
"We will miss him dearly and continue his legacy."
Hundreds of people have shared condolences and fond memories on the post and agree with the sentiment that Mr Wauchope was a true gentleman.
