SA Music Grants Open as Murraylands Celebrate Live Music


Musicians and music businesses and venues from across our regions are being offered a share of $240,000.

The State Government has opened a grants scheme today with up to $15,000 for recording and performing artists, songwriters, producers and artist managers to create and release new original music.

Local businesses can also apply for the same amount of funding to facilitate the creation, production or delivery of original music.

Applications close August 22 via mdo.sa.gov.au/projectsupportgrants.

Event in Murray Bridge Celebrating Live Music

THE STATION is celebrating a decade of live Acoustic Sessions events in Murray Bridge next weekend, open open to all music lovers in the community.

The ten year anniversary of the annual Acoustic Sessions event will be held 6pm until 9pm Saturday 13 August, at The Station, 3-5 Railway Terrace, Murray Bridge.

The free all ages gig will showcase live music in an intimate setting, providing a professional platform for young musicians emerging through The Station’s Band Connections program, led by facilitator “Crafty” from Music SA. Talented performers from Murray Bridge and Adelaide will also perform.
