Fake Fifty Found In Murray Bridge

Fifty Note (Miran Rajavek flickr).jpg

We’re being asked to keep an eye out for fake fifties doing the rounds after a counterfeit note was used at a business in Murray Bridge on Wednesday.

The Adelaide Road business only realised the note wasn’t quite right when compared to others in the till at the end of the day.

Police are asking anyone who comes across a note they believe to be a fake, to handle it as little as possible and to put it in an envelope before calling for assistance on 131 444.
