Sleepy Hills Driver Now Without Car Or License

A Hahndorf man has found himself without his car and his license, after police found him asleep at the wheel in the Adelaide Hills on Friday.

A patrol spotted a car with its lights on sitting on the side of Wellington Rd at Wistow just before 10:30pm Friday, pulling over to find the driver was slumped over the wheel, the engine still running.

A quick check found the man was sleeping, a breath test returned a result well over the limit of 0.48. His car has been impounded and he’s lost his license for 6 months.
