A mysery division 1 SA Lottery winner has now come forward, the winner admitting she has been sleeping with the ticket under her pillow.

The over $940,000 jackpot was won by someone who bought the ticket at the River Newsagency in the Murray Bridge Green Shopping Centre, SA Lotteries saying the winner, a local woman, has now come forward to claim her prize.

“Thank you so much! Thank you! I am crying my eyes out!” the woman exclaimed through tears.

“I walked past the newsagency and thought I should buy a ticket, and someone out there must have been looking after us.

“I can’t believe it! I can’t stop shaking!

“I was just telling the lovely lady there that I should become an Easiplay Club Card member because I’ve become a bit of a regular player, putting in my QuickPicks.”

The woman confessed that she thought a higher power must have been the reason she decided to buy a ticket that day.

“Something told me that I had to stop at the newsagent on Friday and buy a ticket,” she explained.

“I just had a feeling, last night I slept with it under my pillow. I just knew!”

When asked how the woman planned to spend her windfall she confessed it had come at a really good time for her family.

“We’ll be able to buy a house again! We’ll also be making a donation to a charity that is close to us. We believe in paying it forward so we’ll be helping out where we can.

“All of a sudden life has become easier on a lot of accounts!”
