Strathalbyn Locals Charged With Drugs & Weapons Offences

Raids by Hills Fleurieu Police on three premises and a boat have led to three Strathalbyn locals being reported for a range of offences.

On Friday officers from Mt Barker, Goolwa and Strathalbyn were joined by a drug detection dog, picking up a 36 year old man in possession of an unlicensed firearm as well as a small amount of cannabis.

A 48 year old man was reported for having a taser and an amount of methamphetamine and a 43 year old woman was found with prescription drugs, cannabis and methamphetamines.

Cannabis expiation notices were also handed to residents at a Hindmarsh Island home while police are making enquiries into property found at the address.

The boat owner was issued with a cannabis expiation notice for possessing cannabis.
