Two drivers have been lucky to walk away from recent accidents after crashing while allegedly drink driving on the same road in Hayborough.
On Thursday police were called to Waterport Rd after a car hit a sign and flipped onto its roof. The driver, a 33 year old from Seaford Meadows was breath tested at the scene and returned a reading of 0.134. He was also reported for aggravated driving without due care. The driver was issued with a six-month licence disqualification and will appear in court at a later date.
Then on Sunday (July 1) a 72 year old man returned a breath test of 0.184 after his car collided with a fence on Waterport Rd. He was arrested after allegedly refusing to comply with police. The man was also disqualified from driving and will face court at a later date.
