After years of fighting fires from their shearing shed base owned by one of their members, the Rockleigh CFS finally has their own station.

It’s taken nearly 10 years of fund raising and cutting through red tape for the building to be finalised, with the project a collaboration with the State Government, Mid Murray and Murray Bridge Council.

The station was officially opened on Sunday August 5 with dignitaries including Member for Hammond Adrian Pederick and CFS Chief Officer Greg Nettleton in attendance.
