Drink Drivers Crash In The Adelaide Hills

A man who was on bail, has been charged after allegedly leaving the scene of a crash in the Adelaide Hills last week.

A patrol arrived at the scene of the accident in Hahndorf to find the driver had left before exchanging details, the 43 year old of no fixed address found not far from the crash scene where he returned a breath test of 0.062.

He was arrested and charged with drink driving and breaching bail.

A driver has returned a breath test result more than 4 times the legal limit after crashing his car on Melbourne Cup Day.

Police headed to the accident scene on Adelaide Rd in Mt Barker on Tuesday, the driver, a 60 year old man from Hahndorf returning a reading of 0.202.

He was charged with drink driving and will face the Mt Barker Magistrate at a later date.
