Murray Bridge police have nabbed an alleged thief who was spotted by a member of the public.
A patrol was in Amanda St on Wednesday afternoon when a resident alerted them to a man who had jumped into their back yard.
The officers gave chase managing to catch the 38 year old, finding allegedly stolen items in his car. A search of him home also uncovered more items believed to be stolen.
The man faced court yesterday charged with serious criminal trespass, theft, being unlawfully on premises and unlawful possession.
