Road Closed South Of Strath Due To Fatal Crash

Emergency services are at the scene of a fatal crash at Strathalbyn.

At about 6.15am today (Monday 3 December), patrols and emergency services were called to Alexandrina Road near Giles Creek Road after a Mitsubishi 4WD hit a tree.

The driver and sole occupant, a 49-year-old man from Burnside, died at the scene. His death takes the State's road toll to 73 as compare to 92 for the same time last year.

Alexandrina Road remains closed between Tucker Road and Bull Creek Road so motorists are asked to take alternate routes. Please avoid the area if possible.
