Sturt Reserve in Murray Bridge will be home to family fun and adventure next month, with the launch of the council’s SPLASH festival.
A giant inflatable water playground, a carnival, silent disco and rock climbing wall will feature along with an outdoor cinema which will be screening the Lion King on January 11 to celebrate the movie’s 25th anniversary.
Project Manager Michelle Chambers said The Rural City of Murray Bridge was SPLASHing out on fun, entertainment and adventure, for families.
“Sturt Reserve, our jewel in the crown, will come alive this holiday season playing host to an inflatable water playground Slip’n’Dip, Little Splash-Family Carnival Day, silent discos, outdoor cinema, come and try activities and so much more,” she said.
“Most activities will be free allowing local families plenty of fun and affordable entertainment throughout the summer, with something to suit everyone on offer.”
