Langhorne Creek’s Michael Roeger has broken another World Record, shaving 45 seconds off the T46 amputee 10,000 metres.

The record, which has stood for nearly 30 years, was broken at the Zatopek10 in Melbourne, a premium athletics event for runners.

It’s the fourth record Roeger has taken down this year, also now holding the fastest T46 1500, 5000 and marathon times.

He’s now eyeing off a spot in the 2020 Tokyo Paralympics team.
