A Mount Barker teenager will face court on several charges following a high speed chase through the Adelaide Hills.
A witness claims the teenager on a motorcycle pulled up to his car on Friday 9 March 2019 around 1pm and smashed his window before speeding off.
A police patrol attempted to pull the motorcycle over on Alexandrina Road soon after but he allegedly refused to stop, speeding off into Keith Stephenson Park, narrowly missing a pedestrian.
Police were able to track down the bike to Echunga where they allegedly found several items including an expandable baton.
Officers arrested the 19-year-old and charged him with riding an unregistered and uninsured motorcycle, riding while disqualified, endangering life and for the possession of a prohibited weapon.
A 51- year woman from Mt Barker was also arrested for assisting the man. Both have been bailed to appear in the Mt Barker Magistrates Court on 1 May 2019.
