A win for drug treatment in the Murraylands and Fleurieu Peninsula with the regions receiving a share of $20 million dollars from the Federal Government.

With meth use in regional South Australia well above the national average, funding has been funnelled to a number of organisations including the Murray Mallee General Practice Network and SA Network of Drug and Alcohol Services.

The investment will increase treatment offerings including counselling, detox and residential rehab with some services paying particular attention to youth in rural areas.
