Craft-enthuiasts are gearing up for 'World Wide Knit In Public Day' this Saturday 9 June.
The movement started in 2005 by Danielle Landes and has since grown to become the largest knitter run event in the world.
The idea behind the day is to get people who are normally solitary to come together to enjoy each others company and show the general public that knitting can be a community activity in a very distinct way.
If you’re in the Adelaide Hills or up for a scenic trip this weekend, you are encouraged to flaunt your crafts at the Coventry Library in Stirling from 2pm to 4.30.
