One of the strongest cold fronts so far this winter will sweep across much of the southern half of South Australia today.
The front is predicted to start in Victor Harbor, Kingscote and Strath and then head to Adelaide Metropolian, Mount Lofty Ranges and the Murraylands, bringing damaging winds between 50 and 125 kmph, squally showers and thunderstorms.
The State Emergency Service advises that people should:
* Move vehicles under cover or away from trees;
* Secure or put away loose items around your property.
* Stay indoors, away from windows, while conditions are severe.
If you need assistance from the SES call 132 500.
