Policy Makers Urged to Cull Kangaroos & Koalas

The culling of over-abundant animals must go ahead if we want biodiversity to flourish, State Parliament has been told.

The Natural Resources Committee has provided a report to the State Government on the impact certain booming species are having on the environment.

The committee has urged policymakers to support a species cull, stating that if they do not, seals in the Coorong and Murray Mouth and koalas and kangaroos in the Mount Lofty Ranges and Kangaroo Island will cause irreparable environmental damage.
