A man who allegedly stole a dog at knifepoint has been arrested following a lengthy stand-off with officers in Adelaide's west.
It is alleged he entered a Seaton home just before 9.30am on Sunday and stole the occupant's phone, money and dog.
Police say the two people are known to each other and no one was injured..
Officers then attended the 34-year-old suspect's home nearby, but he allegedly refused to come out.
Negotiators and specialist officers were called in, sparking a stand-off that lasted several hours.
The man was eventually arrested without incident, while the dog was returned unharmed.
