The Federal Government’s stimulus package has passed through parliament, releasing more than $84 billion in financial assistance for Australians.

With hundreds of thousands of Australians out of work due to COVID-19 lockdown laws, it is hoped the package will keep workers and businesses afloat during the economic downturn.

There has been a surge in demand for Centrelink services this week, which has put pressure on the system.
