The Case for Staying GM-Free

With the lifting of the Genetic Modification moratorium, the SA Government is granting councils an opportunity to apply for GM-free status.


The Coorong Council is engaged in its public consultation period until Friday 3 July.
 
Dr Cathie Harvey, local farmer, Nuffield Scholar and veterinarian, says she would like to see the region stay GM free as the  marketing and trade opportunity is just too good to miss.
