The Alexandrina Council is consulting with the community on a number of plans and proposals at the moment.
Mayor Keith Parkes is working with the Milang community to right a wrong after a 99-year-old pine hedge planted by WW1 veterans was ripped up by council workers in June without his knowledge.
He is also consulting with residents on whether to apply for GM-free status for economic reasons, and whether to rezone farm land in Goolwa and Strathalbyn to make way for new homes.
Mayor Keith Parkes joins Jennie Lenman to discuss these issues as well as welcome news of a new high school project on the south coast.
