A large aged care home development proposal for Murray Bridge has many residents concerned.

A proposal by RSL Care SA to build a $22 million, 72-bed, aged care home at 38-40 and 42 Tumbella Drive, is currently before council.

The non-for-profit organisation says the new home, to be named Romani, will be a modern facility designed to take into account risks associated with the coronavirus and influenza.

Around 27 residents responded to the council's notification of the plan with concerns about the placement on a quiet and narrow residential street (pictured above).

Residents Jo Harris and ex-Councillor Phil Nutt join Jennie Lenman in this podcast to discuss their concerns. Listen below to the audio or click here for more details.
