The Importance of Bees on Food Security

It is fair to say that most of us have some understanding that bees play an important role in ecosystems , but how critical are they for Australia's food production?

Bees are critical to our food security and their decline could spell the end of not only honey, but also pollinating plants like macadamias, avocados and blueberries.

 John Harvey, Managing Director, AgriFutures Australia, joins Jennie Lenman to have a chat about it.
