Marc Webb got into beekeeping after serving in the armed forces, and soon after realised how beneficial it was for his mental health and PTSD.
The apiarist from Aristaeus Farms has been resilient in the face of adversity after losing his property to the 2019 Cudlee Creek bushfires.
He and his 13-year-old daughter educate the public on the value and importance of bees, and will be presenting at World Bee Celebrations at the Mt Pleasant Farmers Market on 22 May.
Marc joins Jennie Lenman in this podcast to talk about the event, how he's going after the fires and how people can get involved with Hives for Heroes.
