The Murraylands can afford to get started on constructing a new regional sports stadium, thanks to a significant government investment.
Under Round 5 of the Federal Building Better Regions Fund, the Rural City of Murray Bridge will receive $1,981,530 for stage 1 of a new multi-use sports facility at the current dilapitated basketball stadium in Murray Bridge East.
The Rural City of Murray Bridge has also received $1,500,000 for the up-and-coming Murray Bridge History and Tourism Precinct at Sturt Reserve.
