Million Paws Walk Will Raise Thousands For Animal Rescue

Million paws walk.jpg

The RSPCA Million Paws Walk is the biggest fund raiser for the RSPCA for the year, bringing in thousands to help homeless and injured animals who find their way to shleters across South Australia.

Kate Jones from the RSPCA says the day is a great way for people to get out with their four legged friends with many participants former residents of their shelters.

On 20 May 2018, hundreds of thousands of people (and their dogs) will walk to show their support for animals in need. Each year, the RSPCA has over 250,000 animals come through our doors needing care – together, that’s a million paws!

Be sure to join your local Million Paws Walk for a fun day out celebrating man’s best friend and raising money to help the RSPCA continue our vital work.

There will be market stalls, live music and entertainment, loads of foods for you (and your pooch) to try, and exciting new doggie products to test out – as well as free veterinary checks at certain locations to make sure your dog is in tip-top shape!

Million Paws Walk is about more than having a fun day out meeting new furry friends. It’s the RSPCA’s biggest fundraiser of the year, so we need you to take action, register and get involved. When you register, you’ll be given your own personal fundraising page, so get creative and have fun encouraging your friends, family and workplace to sponsor your walk.

So what are you waiting for? Register now and let’s walk towards a better future for animals!
