Former Paraplegic Tells His Extraordinary Story - Terry Mitropoulos

A paraplegic, who has extraordinarily beaten his condition, will be walking from Adelaide to Melbourne unaided on Saturday 17 August for a month-long, 700km journey.
Terry Mitropoulos was given a 5 per cent chance of living and no chance of getting back on his feet after he contracted a brain tumour, a superbug and a stroke around 9 years ago.

He joins Jennie Lenman to share his story ahead of his "Walk and Shine" tour raising awareness for mental health and funds for The Black Dog Institute and the YMCA Open Door Program.

Terry will stop at the Crafers Hotel on Saturday afternoon for anyone keen to come and have a chat.
