On Friday July 20 Morpheous play the German Club in Adelaide!
Morpheus - seminal SA rock legends now reformed after 37 years(!) these guys rocked Adelaide in their time: in 1975 they won the ‘Come Out’ Battle of the Bands. In 1977 they signed with an agency and management and in 1978, moved to Sydney. Four musicians and two roadies, all living in a four-bedroom house in Lewisham for $80 a week! If you have ever read, “He Died With a Falafel in Hand”, that is what life was like in 1978 Lewisham. Rehearsing every
day, downstairs in a shopfront and working five nights a week playing all original music, playing with everyone from The Ramones to INXS.
Saturday July 21 it's the Night of the Guitar at the German Club.
Night of the Guitar – A reprise of last year’s sold out show and features some of SA’s leading guitarists (incl. Chris Finnen, Nick Panousakis, Alain Valodze and Rob Pippan performing individual instrumental sets in a wide range of styles from blues, rock, acoustic, fusion and more .Additional performers to be announced shortly – all backed by the ‘Night Of The Guitar’ house band with Matt McNamee, Shaun Duncan, Rob Vorel and Ian ‘Polly’ Politis
Sunday July 22 Rumours the Flletwood Man Show plays at the Beach House Cafe in Encounter Bay!
Rumours perform the music of Fleetwood Mac and since forming in 2014 has played to sold out crowds consistently and feature some of SA’s leading season musicians fronted by Nanette Van Ruiten and Ian ‘Polly’ Politis in a 7-piece classic rock setting.
