Police are seeking witnesses after crash on the Princes Highway, Poltalloch, on Sunday.
Just before 8pm on the 4th of May, police and emergency services were called to the Princes Highway, Poltalloch (between Wellington and Meningie) after reports a motorcycle had crashed. The rider of the motorcycle was critically injured in the crash and airlifted to hospital for treatment.
Initial police investigations into the crash indicate that the motorcycle was forced off the road by a truck travelling in the opposite direction that veered onto the wrong side of the road, into the motorcyclist’s lane. The truck did not stop at the scene.
